An eight volume set of the complete biography of
Winston Spencer Churchill. The first two volumes are by
WSC's son, Randolph S. Churchill. Upon his death in 1968
authorship of the following six volumes was taken over
by noted Oxford University historian, Martin Gilbert.
The extensively illustrated books are presented in red
cloth with gilt titles and all are encased in
dustwrappers. The spines of some volumes are slightly
sunned, particularly Volume IV. All are William
Heinemann first editions.
